Our 4 Part dSLR + mirror-less series is designed to take the beginner photographer, out of their comfort zone of “Full Auto”. We will give them the tools and understanding of Exposure Control, White Balance, File Formats, Lens Options, Flash Photography, Composition and much more.
“The Basics”
Part 1 will cover how to properly setup your camera for optimal control. After that, we will discuss accessories that will help you and your equipment function more efficiently. Then we’ll begin to cover the various functions, features and menu items on your camera such as Program Mode, Aperture & Shutter Priority vs. Scene Modes and Full Auto.
Additionally, this class will offer a hands on approach to navigating the menu and buttons on your camera. There will be time for group discussion and Q&A. The atmosphere of our classroom is relaxed and inviting… we’re all in this journey together to achieve great and memorable photographs.
After this class we invite you to take part in “Exposure: Metering The Light”, “Exposure: It’s A Numbers Game” and “Composition & White Balance”
*Please note that this class is NOT for point-and-shoot cameras.
