Our 4 Part dSLR + mirror-less series is designed to take the basic, amateur photographer, out of their comfort zone of “Full Auto” and give them the tools and understanding of Exposure Control, White Balance, File Formats, Lens Options, Flash Photography, Composition and much more.
“Control”
When it comes to taking that photograph on your camera, you’ll find that there are a million ways to do it. Starting with Full Auto, not a whole lot you can do there… to Program, Aperture & Shutter priority and then there is, full Manual. OMG, Manual!!! Don’t be scared, it’s not as hard as you think.
We have developed a way to break down when and why you would want to change a Shutter Speed over an F-Stop and when to nudge that ISO setting just a little higher… seriously, you will have that “Ahhh Haaa” moment and you’re going to love it! You will see how the image is influenced with a slow or fast shutter and we’ll show you how to get that dreamy soft background with the proper F-Stop and lens.
This class will offer a hands on approach to the exposure settings on your camera. There will be time for group discussion and Q&A that will offer great tips for getting started in the right direction. The atmosphere of our classroom is relaxed and inviting… we’re all in this journey together to achieve great and memorable photographs.
After this class we invite you to take part in “Composition & White Balance”
